A Play, A Pie and A Pint
Miss Lockwood Isn't Well
Written by James Reilly
Directed by Catriona MacLeod

Doors 12pm
Show Starts 1pm

Unreserved Seating

Co-presented with Traverse Theatre

An ecclesiastical comedy drama about a Catholic primary school teacher who’s been having disconcerting religious experiences in her classroom.

Miss Lockwood isn’t well. That’s what Alice’s pupils have been told, although the truth is she’s been suspended following strange goings-on in her classroom: appearances by mysterious figures only she can see, delivering cryptic messages only she can hear. And, of course, there was the unfortunate incident with the fire extinguisher...

Is Alice fit to return to work? Are the schoolchildren safe under her care? That’s up to Dr Freer to decide, aided – or perhaps hindered – by Alice’s parish priest, Fr Mackin.

Miss Lockwood Isn’t Well is a comic drama that deals with the doctrines of religion, the boundaries of belief, and the mystery of what lies beneath the fridge.

All tickets include food and drink. Please choose the relevant food option when booking tickets.

Gluten-free meat option: Please note that, whilst we take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we operate in a mixed used kitchen that contains gluten and wheat products.
