This April Albert Jones returns to Devon with his band, one year after the release of his debut album ‘Come Alive’. The album has been supported by BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary), BBC 6 Music (Tom Robinson) and received countless plays on local radio across the UK, no mean feat for a fully independent artist.
Recent support slots for superb acts like Seth Lakeman and Scott Matthews have further bolstered his live reputation.
While his origins lie in folk and acoustic music, the sound has gradually evolved. Albert is a performer who most strongly refuses to be defined by a genre, leaping from one spot to another stylistically, all the while following his increasingly prolific muse.
