Alice Auer celebrates the release of her EP ‘Sure’. Following Baby, Cry, the project is reflective, intimate and deeply personal, centring on the good and bad of Alice’s experiences of love and relationships, as well as the trauma from a near-fatal car accident back in 2021. Musically, ‘Sure’ demonstrates Alice’s unwavering determination to develop beyond her jazz and R&B roots, incorporating elements of dream pop and folk to create a body of work that is both eclectic and ambitious yet faithful and cohesive. To this end, Alice has joined forces with a range of top writers and producers, including Gold Spectacles, Phairo and James Berkeley, as well as long-time friend and collaborator Seth Tackaberry. The end result is a testament to her artistic evolution, offering listeners a poignant and genre-blending experience that underscores her resilience and depth as a storyteller and musician.
