    All We Are

    Alternative

Since releasing their Dan Carey produced (Kate Tempest, MIA, Hot Chip) debut album on Domino/Double Six in February 2015, All We Are have been lighting up festivals all over the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe with their psych driven atmospheric shows and groove based anthems.

As their debut proved, the Liverpool 3 piece – Richard O’Flynn (drums), Guro Gikling (Bass) and Luis Santos (Guitar) – embraced everything groove based and psychedelic about music, from soul, hip hop to pop music crafting an intoxicating album full of warmth, emotionally astute lyrics and irresistible rhythms.

With their second album in the making and drawing influences from post-punk, early 80s/90s electronic music and more, including recent personal observations and experiences, expect a darker, yet brighter, punchier and evermore urgent All We Are filling the void.

“We wanted to make music that reflected the changes that were happening around us”, says Richard. “These are hard times for everyone, Liverpool is no stranger to that,” says Guro. “...and musicians are a reflection of the places they draw their influences from,” says Luis.

The atmosphere remains, the energy and life that All We Are bring to the stage will forever be at the forefront of what they do, but the world is now a different place. Paranoia isolates and harder times create harsher climes. Darkness forces melancholy and only drive cuts through the noise. As Ian Curtis said "I exist on the best terms I can. The past is now part of my future. The present is well out of hand."

Full Capacity COVID-19 Guidelines

We can’t wait to see you back at Colours and want your visit with us to be as safe as possible when we return to full capacity.

These have been extraordinary times and so as we reopen to full capacity, we will be continuing some measures to keep you safe and to protect our staff, artists, and DJs from the risk of Covid.

Please stay at home if you have Covid symptoms or believe you may have been exposed to infection. If you have already purchased a ticket or made a booking, then please contact us and we can discuss different options with you.

Before your visit we ask you to please take a lateral flow test to check you do not have Covid, however providing a negative result will not be a condition of entry. We also strongly advise you do your part and get your vaccination, however proof of this will not be asked for.

Whilst masks will not be mandatory during your time at Colours, these do offer an additional layer of protection and we will support your choice to continue wearing one. Our staff may choose to remain wearing masks; if so, please respect their choice to do so.

We will be deep cleaning the building regularly and there will be additional sanitising units around the building. We ask you to please play your part in keeping the building clean from contact risk by regularly washing your hands and using the sanitiser provided.

Finally, please enjoy yourselves (safely). This has been a tough year on all of us and we deserve to feel some good vibrations. Thanks for reading and we look forward to seeing you.
