Music is Life is delighted to announce that Bad Touch will be performing at the Ironworks on Friday 19 October 2018. They will be joined by special guests Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics and Daxx & Roxanne.

Bad Touch are pleased to announce they have signed a worldwide album deal with Marshall Records. Their new album, “Shake A Leg”, will be released in Friday 5th October 2018. The band will support the release with their “Shake A Leg” 17-date UK headline tour that starts on Wednesday October 14th at Newcastle University Union.

“Shake A Leg” takes a more personal and ambitious approach in song-writing and production due to the bands choice to write more spontaneously within the studio itself resulting in more emotional ‘in-the-moment’ performances. The new album features hand-picked songs that originate from a collective of all the members influences which they proudly wear on their sleeve.

Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics were formed by the former Heaven's Basement frontman in mid-2016 currently comprising of Tom McCarthy and Laurie Buchanan on guitars, Mart Trail on Bass and Paul White on drums. The Cult Classics have toured the UK and Europe since the formation in support of their critically acclaimed album "The Man With Stars On His Knees", released May 2017 with huge support from Planet Rock Radio and Kerrang.  The album went on to win Guy Bellamy's "Album Of The Year" from a shortlist of over 150 bands and with 25,000 unique public votes. Classic Rock gave a 7/10 review finishing with "Buchanan is back on his feet and swinging from the heavens."

Daxx & Roxane are a kick-ass 4-piece rock ’n’ roll band originating from Switzerland, and now based in London. With Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and AC/DC as their key influences, it’s no wonder that Kerrang!Magazine hailed themas “tooth-and-nail, testosterone-powered rock.”  It’s no surprise that their 5 killer singles have collectively spent nearly 50 weeks on the Planet Rockplaylist (with Junk Food Hangover hitting an unprecedented 11 consecutive week roll).

    Rock

Bad Touch originally formed in 2010 when the band members were still in college. In their formative years, they played local pubs and performed covers of some rock classics, and gradually began to compose original material. Over the last few years Bad Touch have started making a name for themselves and built a reputation for their dynamic live shows, making them on of the “must-see” acts at many local venues.

March 2018 saw the guys touring the UK with Skid Row, and with many festivals and a headline tour to follow - 2018 looks to be a big year.

    Alternative Rock

Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics are a British rock band formed in 2016 by former Heaven's Basement vocalist of international acclaim (and Red Bull Records alumnus), Aaron Buchanan. Band members include Aaron Buchanan (vocals), Laurie Buchanan (guitar and vocals), Tom McCarthy (guitar), Mart Trail (bass) and Paul White (drums) (formally of industrial metal band The Defiled). The band cite 1990s grunge rock influences and came together for first rehearsals in June 2016 initially with Kev Hickman formally of RavenEye on drums, this was followed up with a full UK tour alongside InMe starting on 17 October 2016 through to 23 October. Alternative Rock

Screeching guitars and soaring vocals, Daxx & Roxane is outright raw Hard Rock. Hailing from Montreux, Switzerland, the band roots itself in the old school rock and metal of the likes of Motörhead, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.

Their strength resides in the passion and energy they deliver onstage, and in the sheer power of their sound, mixing the Hard Rock attitude to the savageness of Heavy Metal, defining their sound as "Hard & Heavy".
