Following her 2022 releases ‘Circles’ and ‘Shoulda Known Better’, Beth Macari is back with her first single of 2023 ‘Feel The Same’ which promises to cure your late winter blues.

With a reputation for penning empowering dancefloor hits, Macari’s music is a staple for anyone needing a feel-good fix. Never straying too far from her soul singer roots, Beth uses her powerful vocal delivery to reel you in and her lyrics to keep you hooked.

As Beth explains, “Feel The Same is an empowering track, but also a self indulgent one. It’s all about self-confidence, about having fun, dancing and letting your hair down. 

“Feel-good pop is the vibe I’m trying to create here, all while staying true to my soulful edge.”

A master storyteller, Macari is no stranger to using relatable human experiences as the inspiration for her music. 

In the case of Feel The Same, Beth describes having a specific encounter in mind, “that moment you lock eyes with someone at a bar, the temptation and excitement that you feel, that’s what this song represents for me; suspense and romance.”

After spending two years on the road with Jane McDonald, fronting the house band on Sky 1’s panel show “Bring The Noise” (performing with Mel C, Tinie Tempah, Anne Marie and Nicole Scherzinger), and a stint with the Manchester Camerata orchestra, Beth headed back to Newcastle Upon Tyne to focus on her own music. 

"I Promise (That I Got You)", the lead single from her 2020 EP “I Am Everything”, broke into the US Soul Chart top 20 with Beth winning the US Soul Radio “President’s Choice Award”.

Beth has supported the likes of Hot 8 Brass Band, Rae Morris, Davina Michelle & Will Young, also sharing festival stages with Noel Gallagher, Alfie Boe, Mel C, Rae Morris and Kaiser Chiefs.
