We’re celebrating the birth of one of history’s musical greats, Billie Holiday.

The American jazz and blues singer had a seminal influence on jazz and popular music in general, with her innovations in style and improvisation setting the stage for the rapid growth of the genre.

She left an indelible mark on the world of music and culture with tracks like ‘Lady Sings The Blues’, ‘Strange Fruit’ and ‘God Bless The Child’.

The specially-curated evening is led by pianist/MD Alex Webb, playing alongside London’s finest jazz musicians and outstanding London vocalist Riketté Genesis.

This event is not in association with Billie Holiday.
