 MaDa Music Present Blushes.

Blushes is a dream pop/rock band that came to be in early 2016, in the form of Bradley Ayres and Jacob Price in the latter’s living room. After jamming out some of Ayres’s old and new acoustic material with electric guitar and drums the pair soon realised they needed to expand the sound. Blushes are now a four piece indie-RnB band based in Aylesbury. Their unique sound pallet including male and female vocals and the element of hybrid electro/acoustic rhythm section is something that makes the band different from others around them. The four’s blend of vocals including the strength of Tiffany Marie’s alluring jazzy notes, electro-acoustic rhythm section and cutting guitar melodies make for an innovative texture backboned by strong song-writing. The band have spent the past few months refining their set further to a sound that wonders the borders of dream pop, indie rock and RnB.

The band spent the first year as a band crafting the local music scene, and kicked off 2017 celebrating the release of their debut EP 'Private Viewing' with a sold out audience of almost 300 people. The band gained attention from BBC Introducing and London Live. In their London Live session, the band performed acoustic versions of tracks from their EP as well as a cover of Childish Gambino's 'Redbone'. Their session has now become the most viewed session on the platform from an unsigned artist and it has opened many opportunities for the band.

‘To The Bone’ from the EP has received respectable attention and has been featured by the likes of NME and has been played on BBC Radio 1. The band have also just finished their debut UK tour.

“For fans of psychedelic nights in, mad nights out… If Foals were to write a stone-cold pop banger with nearly every song – Blushes' material might be closest we’ll ever get to it” - NME
