    Post-Punk

After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd (PiL). Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time, their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums.

With a shifting line-up and unique sound – fusing rock, dance, folk, pop and dub – Lydon guided the band from their debut album ‘First Issue’ in 1978 through to 1992’s ‘That What Is Not’, before a 17 year hiatus.

Lydon reactivated PiL in 2009, releasing the critically acclaimed albums ‘This is PiL’ in 2012 followed by ‘What The World Needs Now…’ in 2015.

    Praise for latest album 'GLA'

“Turns out, when Twin Atlantic unleash untold savagery in the form of a pop song, they’re amazing.” **** NME

"…they’ve upped their game beyond measure. GLA’s songs are snappy, its drums gigantic, its guitar riffs thrilling and McTrusty sings … with the conviction of a man reborn. Anthem piles upon anthem … and this is surely what Twin Atlantic were aspiring to all along.” **** Q

“By finally abandoning the pursuit of making alt-rock sound as pristine as possible, Twin Atlantic have actually struck upon something much more significant here; their identity.”  **** Mojo

“… this is Twin Atlantic stepping up their intensity, their aggression and their commitment to achieving greatness on their terms… they look destined to conquer everything they touch.” KKKK Kerrang!

“It’s a beast of a record, full of swagger and attitude.” The Independent

“… honest, heartfelt and infectious songs that are destined to be belted out on the biggest of stages.” 8/10 Rocksound

‘An album of unashamed anthems…” Clash

“Twin Atlantic deserve credit for doing more than just leaning into the sound that earned them radio airplay on the Great Divide…. an exciting direction for the Glasgow outfit.” The Line Of Best Fit

“A belter of a rock record. fun and full of surprises” **** Upset

“It shows a quartet with their shackles off, acting on impulse and throwing themselves in headfirst.“ DIY

    The Professionals

    Punk

Formed by Paul Cook and Steve Jones, The Professionals arrived on the scene in 1979 following the demise of the Sex Pistols, but split just 3 years later.

In celebration of the release of a three-disc set by the Universal Music Group, The Professionals reformed in October 2015 (minus Steve Jones and with the addition of Tom Spencer) for a critically acclaimed, sold out 100 Club show.

Fast-forward to 2017 and the new band spearheaded by Paul Cook, Paul Myers and Tom Spencer are set to release the first material under the Professionals name in 35 years with the full blessing of founding member Steve Jones.

    Hard Rock

Like the founding fathers of classic rock and heavy metal before them, Massive Wagons set about building their foundations on the road. Through 250 gigs in 3 years, hitting it hard on and off stage the five piece outfit proved they had the chops to compete with the veterans, and have gained a faithful following the old fashioned way. Guitarist Adam Thistlethwaite says this on the bands origins – “Before the band we were just five mates who loved rock music. We got together and started writing our own stuff – we took on every gig we were offered and became a slick live outfit pretty quickly. The live thing was, and still is what it’s all about... writing good songs and performing them well live, then adding that extra spark of energy. There's no pretence in what we do at all”

“Monstrous slabs of melodic hard rock… must see live!” - Dave Ling

“A fantastic album wielding three guaranteed radio hits and a lot of good songs” – Metal Hammer
