    Carvin Jones

    Blues-Rock

A Blues-Rock whirlwind, inspired by Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn, who does a fantastic show with dazzling guitar and Blues licks. Voted Top Blues Guitarist in Phoenix three years running, voted into the Top 50 all time blues rock guitarists by Guitarist Magazine and championed by Eric Clapton as 'the next up and coming blues rock player’.

Carvin Jones hails from Lufkin, Texas. He was seduced by the Blues by hearing the BB King records his grandfather constantly played. At age 11, His grandmother bought him his first guitar to keep him out of trouble. Carvin recalls, “My part of town was a rough neighborhood with a capital R. I saw people literally get killed: shot, stabbed, whatever. The guitar kept me out of trouble because I was always inside playing the guitar away from it all.”
