After a sell-out show at Paper Dress Vintage, this is not a night you want to miss. Hosted by Darcy Winter, this event is a platform for undiscovered talent to get in front of new audiences who have similar tastes – and hopefully, find their number one fan! After finding it hard to earn a living as an artist herself with promoters taking huge cuts, she ensures the artists get the full amount of their ticket sales – it’s a win/win.

Ladybyrd kicked off 2024 in spectacular fashion with the release of her soul-stirring single ‘Way Back Home’ with a chorus that echoes through your mind. Quickly followed by her beautifully anguished, delicate yet cutting single ‘Open Cage’ as the inaugural glimpse into her highly anticipated, enchanting debut album, to be released early ’25.

Easy Tears is the reverb-soaked creation of London-based songwriter Lewis Goswell. With his influences set firmly in the eighties thanks to his father’s record collection, Goswell draws inspiration from the guitar-based ambience of Cocteau Twins and The Smiths, whilst also incorporating guitar hooks and pop sensibilities of artists like Bruce Springsteen and Prince, to craft what is fast becoming his signature sound.
His new single, ‘The Avenue’, is a nostalgic, heavy guitar-driven debut that tells the story of a particular feeling we are all too familiar with. The moment when the night has reached its peak, you should have gone home hours ago and everyone you know is at their worst selves, with the blue single artwork and silhouette representing the light of those early morning hours.
