Electric Fields returns for their sixth year on the new dates of 4 – 6 July, at the gorgeous Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries & Galloway. Having celebrated their landmark fifth birthday in 2018 with a capacity crowd of 7000, the festival is returning to their regular capacity of 5000, so tickets will be in even more high demand.

"Located in the impossibly scenic grounds of Drumlanrig Castle – a sprawling bit of history on the outskirts of Dumfries, Electric Fields festival is a small-but-perfectly-formed pocket of activity nestled among the rolling hills." – DIY Magazine

"It’s combination of stunning surroundings and unbridled north-of-the-border passion make it an undoubted box-ticker of the UK’s fit-to-burst festival circuit. Recommended." – Far Out Magazine

“It’s hard to complain about a festival that’s offering so many special, fresh talents.” – The Skinny

Combat Sports is the sound of The Vaccines being The Vaccines. Their fourth album is the sound of one of the defining British rock and roll bands of their generation at full throttle, setting aside pop experiments and concentrating on what caused the rabid excitement at their arrival in 2010. Combat Sports is a record of guitars, of brevity, of speed, of breathless excitement.

“We rediscovered who we were and what kind of band we wanted to be,” says singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist Justin Young. “We wanted to make a record to solidify that in our minds, and the minds of other people. We wanted to make the best record we’ve ever made.”

Summer 2018 has truly been one to remember for St Albans trio Friendly Fires. The band - comprised of Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge - returned to the recorded music and live arenas this year following a hiatus, to remind us all exactly why we fell in love with them in the first place. First came the anthemic, Mark Ralph-produced, Radio 1 playlisted comeback single 'Love Like Waves', which was met with widespread acclaim. Then launching into a summer of high profile festival appearances (not to mention a sold out headline show at London's legendary, 5000 capacity Brixton Academy), Friendly Fires would go on to headline some of the UK's best loved festivals - including Festival No 6, Lost Village and Truck Festival - in addition to show-stealing performances if front of hundreds of thousands of fans around the world.
