After the triumphant launch of our new in-house showcase, Favourite Things features our hand-picked selection of the brightest and most innovative jazz artists. We are proud to present another installation with London’s favourite saxophonist, Emma Rawicz.

"An astonishing new talent" (Jamie Cullum), “a name on everyone’s lips right now” (BBC 3), a fast-rising star (London Jazz) and "a force to be reckoned with" (Jazzwise).  At the age of just 21, Emma Rawicz has already sown many of the important seeds for a major career, despite still being a jazz student at London's Royal Academy of Music.

The Jazz FM Award-nominee has single-handedly managed a 17-concert UK tour, headlined Ronnie Scott’s, won the Parliamentary Jazz Awards ‘Newcomer of the Year Award’, as well as being a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician competition.

She returns to Jazz Cafe for her album launch concert with her ACT debut, “Chroma”.

Line up:
Emma Rawicz - Saxophone
Ivo Neame - Piano
Ant Law - Guitar
Immy Churchill - Vocals
Freddie Jensen - Bass
Marc Michel - Drums
