State of Millenia

State of Millenia have been together for less than two years but are already making waves.

The five-piece were finalists at a nationwide battle of the bands contest in London called Rock The House.

Now they are hammering on the door of BBC Introducing, which can fast-track bands into the big time.

The band is made up of Clacton teenagers Reece Boulton and Danny Russel, both aged 18, Jordan Capon, 20, from Coggeshall, and Chelmsford's Taylor Finn, 18, and Jack Quartermain, 17.

The lads met while studying music at Colchester Institute and formed the band.

Reece's dad Mark said: "Since then they've been going from strength to strength.

"They were finalists at Rock The House and have been played on BBC Introducing. Now they've been invited to the live round so it's looking quite rosy for them.

Black Sun
BlackSun are a 4 piece Nu-Metal band hailing from Essex and London. The band formed in early 2017 as a project for 4 likeminded musicians, to bring back the flavours of yesteryear, with a fresh twist.

BlackSun take's influences from the late 90's and early 00's metal scene, with band's such as Deftones, KoRn, SlipKnot & Limp Bizkit being influences, among many others.

The band is currently in the process of recording their debut self-released EP: "Destroyer of Worlds".

BlackSun hope to bring their fast paced, high energy live show to as many towns and cities as possible throughout 2019 and beyond.

Myopia
When you hear a new piece of music it isn’t always obvious why you like it so much. There may not be an exact term. Don’t worry you don’t need to know what you don’t know.  Experience that musical emotion with the band Myopia.

Essex-based Oliie Edgington, Herbie Wiseman and Elliot Hawkins are the artists behind this unique, progressive rock-inspired music - branching away from the standard genre with an effective mix of heavy dystopian riffs and meaningful acoustic ballads.

The band formed in 2017 and the trio are currently working on their debut album. The reflective songwriting centres around themes of suffering and social injustice, and combines powerful solo vocals with dynamic harmonies to create an engaging distinctive and sound.
