Fresh off their latest studio triumph, 'Hombres,’ GUN ( released 12th April on Cooking Vinyl), the Scottish rock legends and MTV EMA award winners are set to captivate audiences across the UK with their electrifying tour this December. Known for their compelling blend of rock and a string of hits that have charted across Europe, GUN has consistently been a force in the music industry, boasting 3 UK top 20 albums, 8 UK top 40 singles, and extensive tours, including memorable performances with The Rolling Stones.

The band's latest Album 'Hombres,' features prominently in the Samuel L. Jackson-starring film 'Damaged.' Recorded and produced with Simon Bloor (Trevor Horne) and mixed by Daryl Thorpe ( Foo Fighters ), the album showcases GUN's continued evolution and unparalleled rock prowess. The first single from the album, 'All Fired Up,' sets the tone for an album that Metal Talk hails as "a real celebration and a genuine contender for Album of the Year," receiving a perfect 5-star review.

Steve Harris of Iron Maiden praised 'Hombres' as the "Best GUN album since Gallus," My Global Mind lauded the band's recent showcase, proclaiming GUN "deserved to stand shoulder to shoulder with the greats." Such accolades underscore GUN's enduring impact and vitality in the rock genre.

Following the success of 'The Calton Songs' and receiving prestigious awards at Hard Rock Hell and the Scottish Music Awards, GUN continues to solidify its legendary status in rock music. The current lineup, featuring original members Dante Gizzi (Vocals) and Giuliano Gizzi (Guitar), along with Paul McManus (Drums), Andy Carr (Bass), and Ru Moy (Guitar), promises an unforgettable live experience that blends iconic tracks with fresh hits from 'Hombres.'

    Rock

If life hasn’t thrown you a few curveballs over the years, then clearly you ain’t doing things right. After all, who wants to tread the straight and narrow route down the path of tedious predictability when a few diversions here and there can liven things up?

And if any band knows a thing or two about curveballs – and, more crucially, how to knock ‘em out of the park – then it’s Glasgow’s favourite hard rockers GUN. Hit albums and singles, break-ups, line-up changes… GUN have done them all and more, and at each turn have come back stronger and better than before.

Favourite Pleasures is GUN’s seventh studio album. Standing proudly with the very best of their work, and it’s one informed by a combination of a back-to-basics approach tempered by an innate melodic sensibility, mastering the domain of their own Morse Code studios in Paisley, and knowing how to deal with those curveballs that keep flying from all directions.

“We wanted to go back to our rockier roots and I think we’ve achieved that,” says frontman Dante Gizzi. “GUN will always have tons of melody – over the years that’s been instilled in us and it’s what we love and we love playing those songs live – but I think with this one, we’ve become tougher.”

    Rock

What sets Collateral apart from the rest of the new bands is their combination of electric and acoustic guitar set against a big drum sound and throbbing bass guitar. They are loud, rockin’ and melodic. You can’t take your eyes off them. Ever since Collateral burst on to the music scene earlier this year, they have attracted attention from venues, festivals, press, and of course, rock music lovers everywhere. Collateral fit neatly into the current New Wave Of Classic Rock (NWOCR) with their rock anthems reminiscent of early Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Little Angels, Thunder, Skid Row and Tyketto.

Ripped jeans, cowboy boots, long hair and plenty of eye-liner, Collateral are a new generation stadium-driven rock and roll. When they first started out, they were known as the Angelo Tristan Band, with frontman Angelo and bass player Jack Bentley-Smith forming the nucleus of the band. Over the past five years  they have worked tirelessly to grow their music, fanbase and their profile.  It’s been a long ride, but their sheer grit and determination have seen them overcome obstacles and go from strength to strength.
