Hipsway's long awaited new album “Smoke & Dreams” will be released in November, and will be supported by a full Scottish tour in December 2018. The tour starts in Airdrie on 12 December then takes in Dundee, Oban, Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh before culminating with their debut at the mighty Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on 20thDecember, this will truly be a night to remember and one that has been 30 years in the making.

Grahame Skinner(vocals) said earlier today, “We've been playing some less well travelled places recently and the reception has been great. We are looking forward to hitting Oban and Inverness for the first time and returning to some of our favourite cities.”

Pim Jones (guitar)said “I just can't wait to get back out on the road and play this new album and all the classics to a live audience, and with this tour finishing in our home town, with our first Barrowland gig, it’s going to be epic.”

Mark Ellen(writer/broadcaster) said of the new material "it’s refreshing to hear this kind of music right now as it doesn't feel processed or machine-driven. And it sparks a nostalgia for both the '70s and '80s. I love the crisp guitar and the slightly Steely Dan vocal harmonies."

Stephanie Cheape will be support on all dates.
