KYRA | KEEPVIBESNEAR | SUMMER BANTON | ALORA | MIDE JANELLE

KYRA
Electronic R’n’b Singer-Songwriter Kyra is known for her eclectic sound that pairs powerful vocals with stunning production.
Kyra’s undeniable charisma caught the eye of chart topper Sigala inviting her to tour with him. An opportunity which saw Kyra perform for over 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium and V Festival but most notably in the comfort of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge where presenter Clara Amfo described her performance as an “incredible” experience.
Kyra showed off her songwriting skills in 2018, collaborating with the likes of Maverick Sabre, Samm Henshaw, Kojey Radical and Just Kiddin to name a few. In 2019, she is ready to tell her own stories, starting with her stunning concept EP entitled ‘Xanadu’.

KEEPVIBESNEAR
KeepVibesNear is a contemporary R&B/soul singer from East Ldn. With romance and relationships at the heart of his lyrical content this crooner uses passion, depth & imagery to explore the ups and downs of life in love. The stripped-back, raw quality of KeepVibesNear’s vocals makes for a warming and addictive sound.

SUMMER BANTON
20- year-old South London singer songwriter Summer Banton, captures the traditional sounds of Soul and R&B. The songstress takes reggae influences from family connections with Maxi Priest through to rap from her cousin Dirtbike LB (D- Block Europe). Writing from the age of 15 Summer was able to develop her sound by the age of 18. In 2018 she took part in the NEXXT STEP: Women in Music project curated by BBC 1Xtra DJ Sian Anderson and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan which the release of her first two features on ‘Behind Every Great City EP’. This led to her own debut EP release ‘Summary’ in summer 2019.

ALORA
Standing on the frontline of a new generation of raw talent, is East London native Alora. Growing up as part of a family of seven, she used her artistic flair to stand out from the crowd. Unafraid to explore her life experiences through the lens of aspiration and drive, Alora’s refreshing flavour and evolving talent has led her to perform at Edinburgh Festival, the Black Magic Awards and Ends Festival. After a six month stint in her family’s hometown of Lagos Nigeria, Alora’s West African heritage has shaped her most recent projects, pairing the Afrobeats genre with East London’s gritty rap sound and soft vocals for that old-school R‘n’B vibe.

MIDE JANELLE
Hailing from East London, 24 year old Mide Janelle is an R’n’B singer who began singing and writing songs from the age of 7 years old. She released her debut single ‘Bedside’ early this year which is a smooth R’n’B record which expresses strong sensual emotions whilst empowering female sexuality. She describes her style as ‘sexy, bold and confident’, and takes influences from Afrobeats, R’n’B, Jazz and gospel music.
