Loose Articles presents Kick Like A Girl Project at The Snug!
Loose Articles, a 4 piece, independent, female punk band from Manchester, will illuminate the pathways into this male dominated punk genre for young girls from underserved communities across the North West of England. Touring 10 grass roots music venues across the North West, invited participants come along to their local venue, will shadow the band and crew at sound check, engage in Q&A’s with the band about music career development and be guest listed for the show that evening. A safe, online community (LAFC) will be built to enable the girls to stay in touch with the band, network with one another, attend shows together and access the information bank about music training and careers locally. Strong partnerships such are on board to reach out to girls who may want to participate.
