After selling out Jazz Cafe in July, jazz guitarist Julian Lage returns with his trio for his biggest London show to date.

Something of a child prodigy, Julian began playing his instrument at the age of five and performing in public a year later. Shortly thereafter, he began playing with such renowned artists as Carlos Santana, Pat Metheny and Kenny Werne, among others, resulting in him being the subject of the 1997 Academy Award-nominated documentary film Jules at Eight.

Touching on bluegrass, folk, jazz, and classic pop influences across his body of work, his 2016 trio album Archlight was produced by Grammy-winning guitarist/songwriter Jesse Harris, and his trio returned this year which his latest record Modern Lore.

Line up:

Julian Lage – guitar
Eric Doob – drums
Jorge Roeder bass

STRICTLY 18+ WITH ID. NO U18s ADMITTED
