    Jumprov

    Improv

Jumprov was born straight out of Birmingham Improv Festival. I was there looking at the audiences, the acts and I noticed it was not representative of our diverse city. I decided to start my own improv theatre company which will help tackle the continuing issue of under representation in theatre, TV & film.

Sunny is an actor and the current chairman of Equity Birmingham & West Midlands (the actor’s trade union), He also won the first Monologue Slam Birmingham in 2014 and now sits on The Monologue Slam Birmingham Audition Panel helping to find the best actors in our area.

Jade is an actor who has enjoyed a very diverse career since graduating from Rose Bruford in 2013, amongst which she has appeared on BBC doctors, performed in comedy musical ‘The good enough mums club’, won 2013 Manchester Monologue Slam and works regularly with local theatre, Birmingham Rep. Jade is also the executive producer of MonologueSlam Birmingham which takes place at The Birmingham REP.

Adaya is an actor and spoken word artist. She won the Monologue Slam Birmingham in 2017. She has worked with Women in Theatre and was seen in Wind in the Willows. Adaya’s poem went viral celebrating Birmingham’s creative talent.

Chantal is an actor and she is Birmingham Rep’s Theatre Makers Alumni.

Jay is a stand-up comedian and writer. He has played many stand up events including Glee Club opening for Guz Khan and BBC Asian Network Comedy Live. He was the runner up for BBC Writersroom Future Talent 2015.
