  • The Vaccines

    The Vaccines

    Indie Rock

Combat Sports is the sound of The Vaccines being The Vaccines. Their fourth album is the sound of one of the defining British rock and roll bands of their generation at full throttle, setting aside pop experiments and concentrating on what caused the rabid excitement at their arrival in 2010. Combat Sports is a record of guitars, of brevity, of speed, of breathless excitement.

“We rediscovered who we were and what kind of band we wanted to be,” says singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist Justin Young. “We wanted to make a record to solidify that in our minds, and the minds of other people. We wanted to make the best record we’ve ever made.”

  • Peace

    Peace

    Alternative Rock

Peace, are back with a brand new album, titled Kindness Is The New Rock And Roll’, released 4th May. The album is available for pre-order now via this link.

It's been three years since Peace were swelling up tents at festivals, turning guitar cynics into rock and roll dreamers with their indulgent mixture of romantic riffs, heart-shaped lyrics and dancing drum beats. After a blistering success with their 2015 follow-up LP 'Happy People' (their debut 'In Love' came out to rapturous hype in 2013), the band disappeared for two years, winding up at a farmhouse in the middle of a forest miles away from civilisation. Now, they are back – as Peace 2.0; new label, new record and ready to reinvigorate their tribal young fanbase, one so loyal they’re known to sport Peace tattoos all over their bodies.

Over the past three years, singer Harry Koisser himself has been journeying on his very own independent transformative path; now sober, and turned to yoga and meditation. Alcohol and partying had taken its toll. Yoga became a habit six days a week. It completely revolutionised his creativity. Taking this with him into the recording studio after the farmhouse writing sessions Harry felt like he finally “had the keys to the Lamborghini.”  Fleeing to Woodstock, USA, for a month in 2017 – a most unpractical but pleasingly gung-ho decision – the band went to work with Simone Felice (Bat For Lashes, The Lumineers), a brand new injection of blood.

With festivals to headline this year and a whole new universe to impact, the boys are well and truly back in town. “We want to be bigger and shinier than ever,” says Harry.

  • Ash

    Ash

    Alternative Rock

Formed in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland by Tim Wheeler (vocals and guitar), Mark Hamilton (bass) and Rick McMurray (drums), Ash released their first studio album ‘1977’ and were then joined by Charlotte Hatherley (guitar) for a further 3 studio albums ‘Nu-Clear Sounds’, ‘Free All Angels’ and ‘Meltdown’. Charlotte left the band in 2006 and the band went on to record and release ‘Twilight of the Innocents’ before launching the innovative A-Z series which saw the band release a single every fortnight for a year. Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack has joined the band on stage since 2010.

October 2011 saw Ash play some special live shows to mark the release of 'The Best of Ash' and Charlotte performed with the band once more for the UK tour. The shows included the four piece playing the seminal “Free All Angels” Album in its entirety and a “Best Of” set.

Following the recent news of their forthcoming album Islands on May 18th, Ash are pleased to announce details of some live shows in the Autumn.

The band reunited with original label mentor Korda Marshall at Infectious Music unleashed Buzzkill earlier this year. The first taste of the new album, its’s one that encapsulates their uncanny knack of conjuring up instant classics.
