Erykah Badu to performheronly UK show of 2022 at Love Supreme Jazz Festiva lin July

Following a two-year hiatus, the Love Supreme Jazz Festival will return in 2022 with an exclusive headline show from the queen of neo soul,Erykah Badu, on Saturday 2nd July. Confirmed as Badu’s only UK show of 2022, the massively anticipated festival appearance will be the multi-Grammy-winning star’s first UK performance in three years.

One of the most influential artists of the modern era, Badu’s sound is a lush soundscape blending a multitude of genres including jazz, R&B, funk, soul and hip hop.The Love Supreme show will mark 25 years since the release of Badu’s debut album Baduizm, which won her widespread commercial and critical success and earned her comparisons to the likes of Billie Holiday, Lauryn Hil land Stevie Wonder.

The neo soul superstar is the first headline act to be announced for the return of Europe’s biggest greenfield jazz festival, which takes place in the stunning surroundings of Glynde Place from 1st –3rd July 2022.

Children 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+. Maximum of one under 16 per adult aged 18-20 and four under 16s per adult aged 21+.

Three day camping festival. Main stage music programming on Saturday and Sunday.The festival arena will open to Camping and Weekend No Camping ticket holders from 3pm on Friday with entertainment starting from the early evening.Campsites open to camping ticket holders at 12pm on Friday and need to be vacated by 12pm on Monday.Last entry to the festival is 10pm on Friday, 9pm on Saturday and 9pm on Sunday. There will be no admission after these times.
