Enjoy a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant. Please note:

  • Restaurant tickets include a non-refundable deposit of £20 per person which will be taken off your bill at the end of the night.
  • Some guests on tables 11-20 may find their view slightly restricted.
  • Tables 19 and 20 offer bar-style seating with a restricted view of the stage.

 

A unique live show of poetic spoken passages, soaring vocal melodies and live instrumentation featuring the Queen’s 21st national Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and his new band LYR.

LYR is Land Yacht Regatta; also featuring Patrick James Pearson and Richard Walters, they’re proud to present their debut album Call In The Crash Team, the culmination of a triangular collaboration that gives poetic voice to acts of resistance and surrender.

The album took shape against a backbeat of social alienation, a backcloth of austerity politics, a search for beautiful noises and the uncontainable urge to fuse language and music, resulting in a unique collection of mesmerising soundscapes presented live for the very first time at The Jazz Cafe.
