Mercury Machine are an 80s inspired Dark Electro band from Manchester. From their home in a old Cotton Mill in Droylsden East Manchester they have been plotting their world domination, finely tuning their sound and planning ahead. After releasing several singles in 2018 they played a sold out album launch show at Manchester’s iconic Night People venue in Feb 2019, rave reviews quickly followed. Mercury Machine are now booking gigs around the country to promote their music throughout 2019.

At the centre of the machine is Lee Maguire, the mathematical mastermind. The influence of Lee’s autism is reflected in the subject and sound of the music, with continuing themes of isolation and stifled communication flowing throughout their work.

Their live set is electronically centred and almost orchestral in the size of the sound. Seasoned musicians, Tim (Lead Guitar), Gav (Drums), Carl (Bass) and Kade (Keyboards) are on a mission to bring this wall of sound to audiences in all its glory.
