We’re all sad, so let’s be sad together.
Bristol’s brand new alternative festival.
5 stages, 4 venues, 40+ bands.
Misery Loves Company, a brand new Bristol-based multi-venue festival, has announced its first wave of bands including headliners: Scottish alt rock high fliers Twin Atlantic and Brighton rock heavyweights Yonaka. To be held in SWX, Rough Trade, The Lanes (indoor + courtyard acoustic stage) and The Station on 30th September, the event with diversity and inclusivity at its core, promises to be a major highlight in the 2023 festival calendar and in the South West of the UK.
The first announcement are some of the hottest new bands right now, plus some old favourites: Kid Bookie, Mimi Barks, Pengshui, InVisions, TheCityIsOurs, Vexed, Love Is Noise, Lizzy Farrall, InMe, RXPTRS, Gürl, Kite Thief, Immerse and Lozeak.
Venue entry:
Wristband Exchange will be located at The Station.
In the event of a venue reaching it’s capacity, a one-in one-out system will be implemented. We recommend planning accordingly + entering the venue with plenty of time ahead of the set you’d like to see.
Tickets do not guarantee entry to a stage that’s at full capacity. All venues reserve the right to refuse entry.

Praise for latest album 'GLA'
“Turns out, when Twin Atlantic unleash untold savagery in the form of a pop song, they’re amazing.” **** NME
"…they’ve upped their game beyond measure. GLA’s songs are snappy, its drums gigantic, its guitar riffs thrilling and McTrusty sings … with the conviction of a man reborn. Anthem piles upon anthem … and this is surely what Twin Atlantic were aspiring to all along.” **** Q
“By finally abandoning the pursuit of making alt-rock sound as pristine as possible, Twin Atlantic have actually struck upon something much more significant here; their identity.” **** Mojo
“… this is Twin Atlantic stepping up their intensity, their aggression and their commitment to achieving greatness on their terms… they look destined to conquer everything they touch.” KKKK Kerrang!
“It’s a beast of a record, full of swagger and attitude.” The Independent
“… honest, heartfelt and infectious songs that are destined to be belted out on the biggest of stages.” 8/10 Rocksound
‘An album of unashamed anthems…” Clash
“Twin Atlantic deserve credit for doing more than just leaning into the sound that earned them radio airplay on the Great Divide…. an exciting direction for the Glasgow outfit.” The Line Of Best Fit
“A belter of a rock record. fun and full of surprises” **** Upset
“It shows a quartet with their shackles off, acting on impulse and throwing themselves in headfirst.“ DIY
