The Stones Throw Records producer & DJ from San Diego is part of the rich culture that hip-hop, jazz and lo-fi beats bring to the West Coast.

First self-releasing on SoundCloud with long-time collaborator and producer Knxwledge, the sampling wizard effortlessly blends 70s/80s R&B ballads. Complemented by his hypnotic drum patterns and tender chord progressions.

His 2021 album Rare Pleasure was released last Spring to huge critical acclaim. The work represents an appreciation of sharing life, inward reflection, and the gift of joyful catharsis.

Hits like ‘Camelblue’ and ‘Aebja’ continue to be glued to the ears of MNDSGN fans today, with psychedelic swung beats leaving every crowd member bopping their head.
