Beat heavy, relentlessly funky, Latin-flavoured sounds

British-born DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Quantic, aka Will Holland, will bring dance-floor oriented grooves, deep funk, tough drums and tropical rhythms to Electric Brixton. Holland’s pioneering and enigmatic productions as well as Latin influences have made him into one of the most prolific artists in the world of alternative dance and roots music today.

Having started his musical career at a very young age, Holland’s sound has morphed and evolved in many different directions over the years - from dancefloor bombs to authentic soul and funk, to latin spirit from the streets of Columbia. He also has popular side projects like Quantic Soul Orchestra and The Limp Twins as well as many collaborations with artists such as Spanky Wilson, Alice Russell, Ana Tijoux, Jorge Drexler just to mention a few. Holland’s most recent collaboration with a Colombian folk singer Nidia Gongora that appeared in 2017 is yet another proof of his talent and contemporary musicianship.

Under his various guises, this musical troubadour has 18 albums under his belt and can truly lay claim to some of the most vital, fresh and soulful music of our time.
