Alto sax player Sam Glaser brings his quartet to the Green Note to showcase his original compositions with a band featuring some of the most in-demand musicians on the London scene. The music draws from influences including Kurt Rosenwinkel, Will Vinson, Chris Cheek and Chris Potter and it steeped in the jazz tradition but with a contemporary sound.


JONNY MANSFIELD QUARTET

Jonny Mansfield is vibraphonist and composer. He has performed at many prestigious venues with respected musicians including Chris Potter, Gareth Lockrane and Mark Lockhart. He has toured throughout Europe and performed at major venues such at the Bimhaus, Love Supreme Festival, the Royal Albert Hall, the Sage Gateshead, Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scotts, Manchester and London Jazz Festivals. As a result of being awarded the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize, He is releasing his debut album 'Elftet' on Edition Records. The album features special guests Chris Potter, Kit Downes and Gareth Lockrane.
