SouLutions are a 11 piece band from Newcastle. Formed in 2014 by Steve Lee & Louise Mehan to showcase songs the pair had written over a 7 year period, they are heavily influenced by their love of Philly & Modern Soul.

Their first release was "Listen" remixed by the Drizabone Soul Family, which stormed up the soul charts, it was played across the airwaves & was named UK Soul song of the year. It spent 18 weeks in the Soul chart peaking at no 2, & No 1 on Solar Radio Sweet Rhythms chart for 5 weeks. This track attracted rave reviews in both Europe & the USA. SouLutions were launched with a bang!

Following a worldwide publishing deal with Millbrand Music in 2015 , they followed up "Listen" with, "Mr Sun" & the dance floor smash "Philly Line" . Both well received by radio & critics. This led to their critically acclaimed, first album, "Destiny", & 2 more single successes in "All your love" & Peridot. They have since launched their own in house recording label under Festival Park Productions and are currently working with other Artists who are also making waves in the UK soul scene.

Throughout this time the band have developed a fantastic live sound with experience gained from supporting Soul superstars like Jean Carne, Roy Ayers, The Dramatics, Tom Browne, Melba Moore, Kenny Thomas, Light of the World and Shalamar to name a few.

In 2018 SouLutions released their second album which as well as being a number one chart success produced a further 2 number one singles, “Thankful” and “I Got to Party”, the latter being remixed by the legendary New York DJ John Morales.

In August 2019 SouLutions are releasing their third studio album Fate, the single “Who’s Been Kissing You” which will feature on the new album was released in March of this year and went to number one in Solar Radio Sweet Rhythms Chart.

SouLutions have recently been nominated and short-listed for best Soul Band in the Soul Survivors Magazine Awards with the announcement being in July 2019.

Their ambitions for the future are unlimited including appearing on Jools Holland & Louise recording a classic house vocal! Expect to hear a lot more from SouLutions in the coming year.
