Tank and The Bangas are one of the most thrilling, unpredictable and sonically diverse bands on the planet; a unit where jazz meets hip-hop, soul meets rock, and funk is the beating heart of everything they do.

Their newfound critical acclaim and global notoriety, following their NPR’s Tiny Desk, has resulted in collaborations with the likes of Robert Glasper, Jacob Collier, Kimbra, Moonchild, Big Freedia, Jack Splash, Mark Batson and more.

The 2x Grammy-nominated band is comprised of vocalist Tank Ball, bassist Norman Spence, drummer Joshua Johnson and saxophonist Albert Allenback.

Their mixture of genres is unlike anything else in the ether right now, but elements are close enough to Beyoncè, Frank Ocean, Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar. We welcome their return to the Jazz Cafe stage.

This event is strictly 18+ with ID required on arrival at the venue.
