One of the most popular and loved British bands return this Summer with their new album, 10. The album is cause for celebration and marks their 10th anniversary and kicks off a flurry of exciting activity, including a 20 date UK tour in November and December. The anniversary album 10 is available to pre-order here and is set for release on the 30th July 2021.
The highly anticipated album features reinvented versions of some of The Overtones’ best loved tracks alongside brand-new songs and includes a duet with long term friend of the band, Michael Ball on the classic ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You’ – other collaborations will be announced shortly.
Since bursting onto the UK music scene ten years ago, The Overtones have racked up platinum record sales, released 6 studio albums, scored four Top 10’s, sold out tours across the nation, performed for Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace and sang to one million people at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. They have firmly established themselves as one of the UK’s most popular live acts, best known for their exquisite vocals and distinctive style.
COVID UPDATE RE-OPENING
We’re really looking forward to welcoming you back to Madding Crowd at full capacity from 19th July. Please consider the below before attending a gig.
If you have Covid symptoms.
Please do not attend if you have a temperature, a continuous cough, or a loss of taste or smell. If you have recently been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, please do not attend either. We will refund your tickets if either of these are the case.
We would like to reassure our guests that the venue has a state-of-the-art ventilation system which replenishes 100% of the air 7 times and hour, reducing the risk of transmission of airborne particles.
No Vaccine Passports.
We will not be asking for proof of vaccination, nor a negative test result on entry as it is not a legal requirement, and many people are still waiting to receive both doses. However, we encourage people to test themselves regularly with the free lateral flow tests available via the NHS.
In the venue.
Our staff will continue to test themselves before each shift and are encouraged to wear a mask/visor throughout the show as this advice is still being recommended within crowded spaces.
We have masks available behind the bar if people decide they would prefer to wear one while at the venue.
Our sanitising stations across the venue will still be available for use and we will ensure our toilets continue to be covid compliant.
Our staff will move around the venue cleaning touch-spots etc with anti-viral spray.
