6 long years after the breakup of Sam Smith & Company, Sam Smith returns with a 5-piece full band line up fronting hard rock band 'The Parish Church Fire'. The 5 year old studio project will finally make its live debut at Strummercamp Festival 2019 before debuting a long awaited and previously uncrystallised live show at The Eagle Inn, Salford on Friday June 7th.

Musical support comes from fellow German Shepherd Records band Four Candles with Lancashire performance poet Emily Oldfield also appearing. Stephen Doyle of SD's Sonic Diary & The Punk Show on Salford City Radio will be doing a DJ set in addition to being the master of ceremonies.

Expect a night of loud live music, striking and relatable poetry delivered with finesse with music from a world class DJ in between in addition to a short film about the north of England featuring Paul Calf and others.
