The Petty Heartbreakers got together in 2011 to give the people a chance to hear Tom Petty's music in a live environment a bit more often, since Tom had only occasionally visited the UK in the last 20 years. Since Tom's sad passing in 2017, there's more reason than ever to keep playing those fabulous songs live.The band plays songs from across Tom Petty’s career with and without the Heartbreakers, including early breakthrough hits such as American Girl, Breakdown, Refugee, via the Full Moon Fever classics, I Won’t Back Down, Runnin’ Down A Dream and Free Fallin’ right through to the end of Tom’s career. In this way there is lots for the casual fan of Tom’s music but also a few deeper cuts.
