The Sound Lounge presents The Acoustic Guitar Project

    O&O are comprised of Colorado-native, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Obadiah Jones, and Israeli vocalist, Orian Peled. The two met while studying for a Music BA at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) where they had the unique opportunity of a one-on-one songwriting session with Sir Paul.

    After select shows in NYC, Nashville and Colorado, O&O relocated to London and released their debut single, 'Traveling' in June 2017. Featured on Chris Country Radio's New Music List and Richer Unsigned's Best of August 2017 playlist 

    Although new to the London scene, O&O have made their presence felt on the live music circuit this last year with support slots for artists such as Australian Music Award nominees, the Germein Sisters, ahead of the band's appearance at the 2017 Isle of Wight Festival. Their live show features the duo's distinctive, close-harmony sound with an Americana flare - Fleetwood Mac meets The Civil Wars.

    Her middle eastern upbringing makes for a very honest, passionate and powerful lyricist. Her warm and soulful voice carries nostalgic melodies woven in songs of yearning and sweet restlessness.

    Cerian

    Music

    Described as "the purest voice on radio" and selected as one of Music Republic Magazine’s “ones to watch” in 2019, London singer-songwriter, Cerian, is a multi-instrumentalist and sponsored artist of Rees Harps. Cerian was classically trained in voice, harp, piano and guitar and has been described as a cross between Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell and London Grammar, weaving together soaring melodic vocals and rich harmony with poetic lyrics.
    Having sung with the likes of U2, Radiohead, Sam Smith, Thom Yorke, Imogen Heap, Neneh Cherry, Tom Chaplin, Laura Mvula, Newton Faulkner and Charlotte Church, she is now taking on the world with her own brand of contemporary ethereal folk-pop. Her debut single “Wasteland” was released to critical acclaim, gaining BBC Radio play, and this year she looks forward to presenting her much-anticipated EP "Caught in the Dark".

    Jessie Reid is a 25 year old singer-songwriter from Shropshire. She combines finger style and percussive guitar techniques with emotive, fragile and soulful vocal melodies to create a unique style of playing. With an upbringing in a musical family, Jess took up drum lessons from age 7 and decided it wasn't enough. She wanted to write songs and began finding her true musical passion after learning her first guitar chords, aged 11. Jess decided to teach herself guitar, developing techniques to create a new sound that combined her percussive roots with her drive to produce moving melodies. Jess went on to study music at Lancaster University and shortly moved to London after graduating to explore the music scene of the capital. Her innovative, folk influenced songwriting has been said to enchant audiences, drawing comparisons with the likes of Ben Howard, Lucy Rose and guitarist Andy McKee. 
  • Jnay

    Jnay

    Soul

    Jnay, a Soul singer from west London who draws inspiration from the likes of Prince, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye. He delivers electrifying tenacious live performances, with his unique vocal range; tastefully smooth and reassuring to sensuous power when needed which wows audiences from all listening music genres.
    Jnay was a finalist on XFactor season 7 and is also a MOBO award winner. His talent has taken him to stages all over the world and back again including London's famous Royal Albert Hall Along side artists such as George Benson and the Black eyed peas to name a few. Singing songs of life and Love, Jnay always aims to "Inspire and be inspired!"
