Vee VV Formed in 1982 out of the ashes of Factory Records band Tunnelvision. They built up a strong local following and established themselves as a hard hitting live outfit . After a series of local gigs they played throughout the UK including prestigious supports to bands including New Order, James, The Gun Club, A Certain Ratio, That Petrol Emotion, The Membranes and My Bloody Valentine. A move to London and Manchester followed.

It wasn’t long before they started receiving favourable reviews leading to a string of interviews and national music press attention.

After 8 releases, inclusion on two compilation albums and radio sessions they started to receive major label interest, however by now it was 1989, different times, therefore the band decided to call it a day.

Now, almost 30years later and with a Retrospective compilation in production the band are back with the most prolific line up ,playing live dates and writing new material.
