Doors 12pm
Show Starts 1pm

Unreserved Seating

An eccentric comedy-drama about one woman’s pursuit of a sense of humour.

“My name is Joy and I’m a f*cking oxymoron”

Joy, a self-identified spinster librarian, is sad most of the time. Why would her parents place the burden of such a name upon her?

When a particularly disastrous date leads to her potential beau declaring she needs to find a sense of humour, Joy wonders… what if he’s right? Could finding the funnies actually be the solution to living up to her name?

So begins Joy’s quest for a sense of humour, following a seemingly simple Five Step Programme off the internet. How hard can it be?

A quirky journey of self-discovery, Joy is about laughing, loving and learning to be who you truly are.

All tickets include food and drink. Please choose the relevant food option when booking tickets.

Gluten-free meat option: Please note that, whilst we take all reasonable precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we operate in a mixed used kitchen that contains gluten and wheat products. We do not recommend that those with severe intolerances consume the gluten-free pie as we cannot guarantee they are free from all traces.
Gluten-free vegetarian option available on request.

Please email info@playpiepint.com for any other dietary requirements or for further information. We are unable to provide a gluten-free vegan option at this time.
