Many of you will remember that in October 2023, disaster struck when a devastating fire forced the Platform to close for three long months.
Thanks to your incredible generosity back then, they were able to rebuild and reopen – but the closure left them with a huge backlog of mortgage payments. Despite fighting hard to keep going, the pressure has now reached breaking point, and without urgent help, they face the heartbreaking prospect of the bank repossessing the pub.

Tannersbrook was born in the backroom of a local pub, where the group first came together playing classic mainstream covers. Everything changed when Howard introduced his mandolin and sparked a love for bluegrass that instantly resonated with the band. Mark switched to banjo, and Martin began the search for a fiddle player.
Enter Elina—who answered the ad and joined the crew, despite the band joking that she might run for the hills after the first rehearsal. Fortunately, she stayed, and her fiddle playing is a defining part of their sound.
The classic bluegrass lineup was completed when one of Martin’s workmates, Josh stepped in on upright bass. Gigs started slowly, but word soon spread and, now in their second year, Tannersbrook is busy performing most weekends.
As any acoustic band knows, achieving a great sound is a constant challenge. Enter Simon, the sound man, who joined last year and quickly became an essential part of the team.
Named after the stream that rises in their home village of North Baddesley, Tannersbrook blends bluegrass, alternative country, and Americana—with the occasional surprise thrown in. Their music is sure to get your toes tapping and bring a smile to your face. -
A powerhouse tribute to the legendary Eric Clapton, this electrifying five-piece takes you on a journey through the ultimate Clapalogue, from Cream to Derek and the hits of the solo years. Clapton fans, this is the band you’ve been waiting for.
