    Music

archie is a 21-year-old artist from Glasgow, blending polished alt-pop with a raw, scrapbook-style visual edge. He started writing songs at 12, won a Battle of the Bands in his teens, and never looked back - skipping the traditional job route and diving headfirst into music. “music’s not just my job,” he says. “it’s the plan.”

Newly signed to multi-award-winning, super producer Jake Gosling's (Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Shawn Mendes) new label, Hotel Records, in partnership with Atlantic Records UK and distributed by ADA, archie’s sound draws on an eclectic set of influences, from the guitar-driven grooves of The Police to the emotive sweep of Frank Ocean and the bounce of Jamiroquai. He makes music to lift people up, whether it’s through euphoric choruses, nostalgic chords, or lyrics that feel like a conversation. “I just want to make songs that feel good and stick with people.”

Raised in a small Scottish town but dreaming on a global scale, archie brings a distinct energy to everything he does, one that’s as much about the journey as the destination. He treats each release like a snapshot in time, a marker of growth and possibility. “if 12-year-old me could see this, he’d be buzzing,” he laughs. “but 25-year-old me would probably just say - keep going.”

As he steps into a new chapter with label backing and his best music yet, archie is building a world that he can grow with alongside his, a space that’s real and reflective.
