  • Bare Jams

    Music

barejams. blend feel-good indie pop with elements of soul, funk, jazz, and rock, creating a soundscape that's both diverse yet familiar. Their sound has been spearheaded by writer and lyricist Ollie Coombes for well over a decade and the band’s long history gives true depth to their story and back-catalogue. With catchy hooks, uplifting lyrics, and tasteful horn lines, barejams.’ music endears itself to your ears, mind and body, and their live performances guide you through a plethora of emotions, leaving you wholesomely aglow at the end. True musical catharsis.

Founded in 2011 while Ollie Coombes was at school in Dorset, UK, numerous musicians have come and gone over the years, evolving their sound in the process. The current line-up is made up of long-standing bassist Dave Tyler, trumpeter and producer Seb Skelly, saxophonist Jake Heath, keyboardist Ben Vize, and drummer Craig Sellar, the freshest member of the bunch.

Their latest album, "No Rain, No Flowers," composed during a crucial sink-or-swim period in early 2023 and released late 2024, delves into themes of perseverance and connection, striking a chord with their audience through its optimistic message and instantly singable melodies. Their third album “Full Circle” will land in July 2026 with a single dropping each month, already hitting all the right spots with fans both new and old.
