Black Sea Dahu - Everything Tour
-
To listen to Black Sea Dahu is to be cracked open in real time — music as raw,
tender, and cinematic as life itself. Led by Swiss singer and songwriter Janine
Cathrein, the band has carved out a world entirely their own: part collective, part
family, and fully devoted to emotional honesty. With their upcoming album
Everything (out 20.02.2026), Black Sea Dahu dig deeper than ever — not by
changing, but by revealing more of what was always there: grief, hope, reckoning,
and the fragile beauty of holding it all at once.
The new songs were shaped by personal loss and the weight of a world in flux, yet
they resonate with resilience and a rare kind of clarity. On stage, Black Sea Dahu
are magnetic — their performances have sold out across Europe and turned
concert halls into spaces of shared release. In 2026, they return to the road with
Everything, bringing their most soul-baring and powerful live set to date.
Blending elements of indie folk, chamber pop, and art rock, their music defies genre
and speaks directly to the heart. These are not songs made to impress — they’re
made to connect, to survive, to remind us we’re not alone. In a time of noise, Black
Sea Dahu offer something rare: quiet truth, deeply felt. -
Malummí’s music casts a spell, fierce and blissful all at once. The Basel-based trio first emerged with Blood(2021), an intimate debut blending indie, electronica, and folk with raw emotion and vulnerability. In November 2023, they released The Universe Is Black (Irascible Records),a bold dive into grunge-tinged alternative rock and warm indie folk. The album was named Album of the Week on Swiss National Radio SRF3,featured on KEXP’s Sound & Vision podcast, and won Album of the Yearfrom Indie Suisse. Fronted by singer and songwriter Larissa Rapold —whose voice is as expressive as it is distinctive — and backed by GiovanniVicari (guitar) and Lucas Zibulski (drums), the band creates an immersive sonic world reminiscent of Big Thief, PJ Harvey, and Julia Jacklin.Malummí’s lyrics delve deep, challenging societal norms and power structures in a patriarchal, white-dominated world. Their songs explore the complexities of relationships — with the self, with others, and with society.Having shared stages with Teezo Touchdown, Mayberg, Uche Yara, SoftLoft, and Anna Erhard, and performed at Luzern Live, Stars In Town, andM4Music, between others, Malummí are now gearing up to release their third album,Damaged By Their Silence (March 2026).
