Broken Hertz
London-based alternative band Broken Hertz combine hard hitting riffs and catchy choruses with raw lyricism and atmospheric interludes. Live shows feature singalongs, ballads and breakdowns in glorious synergy. Debut EP 'Do You Know' was released in late 2024 alongside a DIY UK tour and sold-out homecoming performance in London. A band with tunes built for the biggest of stages, the next few years feel very bright.
Sophie Holloway is a singer-songwriter from Ipswich who recently moved to London to pursue her career in music and writing. She first picked up guitar during lockdown while at university, learning through YouTube and the occasional socially-distanced jam with other students.
Her music draws on a broad range of influences, from the 60s folk movement to 90s alt-rock. She enjoys experimenting with a range of lyrical styles, from satirical to poetic, and regularly collaborates with musicians of different genres in search of new and exciting sounds. She has performed at venues across London, including the legendary jazz bar Ronnie Scotts, and busks around the capital and beyond, including Cambridge, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
Dither are a South London 4/5-piece crafting unsteady noise rooted in hesitation and drift. Repetitive, unresolved and uneasy, their sound sits in the space with something new and honest.
