Up and coming British Blues star Connor Selby has announced a pair of shows for Spring at Manchester’s Gullivers and London’s Amazing Grace, all hot off the back of being nominated in four categories at the UK Blues Awards.

The singer-songwriter is nominated for UK Blues Artist of the Year, UK Blues Vocalist of the Year, UK Blues Instrumentalist of the Year, and UK Blues Acoustic Act of the Year, and will also support the likes of PP Arnold and Beth Hart in the coming months.
Connor’s earthy roots sound has also seen him open for the likes of The Who at Wembley Stadium, and perform at Hyde Park on the bill with Pearl Jam, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr.

Raised in Essex and having spent time in the UAE and USA, Connor’s love of Americana and Blues draws on luminaries such as Eric Clapton and Ray Charles, but also draws in elements of soul and classic 70s singer-songwriters.

He will release the deluxe edition of his most recent album ‘I Shouldn’t Care’ on 3rd March, and has received support recently from the likes of Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 2’s Blues Show.
