Our monthly late night series brings songwriters together to perform in the round, hosted by Matthew Herd. This month we welcome Ormella, with her incredible voice and beautiful, haunting songs.
 
Ormella
 
Hailing from East London, Ormella is a classically trained singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Having previously lent her unmistakably soulful voice to classic analogue synthesiser sounds and reverb-drenched guitars in the atmospheric pop band Take, she - now as a solo artist - continues to push her sound into a more intimate space, stripping her songs back to a singer-songwriter style. 
 
Ormella is also the creator and host of the Folk Rising series at Camden’s Green Note.
