Following multiple sell-out shows, Dur-Dur Band return to our stage delivering joyful global funk, wah-wah guitars and traditional Somali rhythms.

Driven by founding bassist Abdillahi Ujeeri, Dur-Dur Band has long been at the centre of Somalia’s lively nightlife scene. First gaining popularity through the 1970s and 80s Mogadishu golden era of funk and disco, they remain one of the most legendary pan-African groups today.
 
“Dur-Dur” translates to “spring” in Somali, a fitting name for a band whose revival breathes fresh life time and time again.
