HORIZON PROMOTIONS & IRIE HEIGHTS celebrate BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Get ready for a night of pure reggae history as Electric Brixton welcomes a world-class line-up of roots and dancehall legends on Sunday 1st February 2026. The event brings together iconic Jamaican and UK artists for an unforgettable celebration of reggae music’s legacy and future.
Headlining the event is the incomparable Eek-A-Mouse, the pioneering singjay whose playful vocal style and timeless hits have influenced generations of reggae artists worldwide. Joining him on stage will be the queen of lovers rock Dawn Penn, whose iconic anthem “You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)” continues to captivate audiences across the globe.
Also taking the stage is UK dancehall legend Tippa Irie, bringing his high-energy lyrics and classic sound system style, alongside the legendary Scientist, the dub innovator whose wizardry is responsible for some of reggae’s most mind-expanding studio sessions.
Representing the new wave of conscious reggae, Teshay Makeda and Askala Selassie bring their powerful voices and messages of upliftment to the Electric Brixton stage — uniting roots traditions with modern soul and R&B influences.
On sound duties, Greensleeves Hi-Fi featuring Adam Prescott & Oxman will dig deep into the crates — spinning timeless Greensleeves classics, rare dubplates, and fresh modern roots to keep the dance in full swing all night long.
