Carolina Peaches’ is the debut EP from saxophonist & composer, HARRY BRUNT. Recorded a week before the due date of his daughter, Isabella, ‘Carolina Peaches’ reflects a time of immense change for Harry both personally and as a musician. Featuring the considerable talents of Billy Marrows, Flo Moore & Rod Oughton, this recording represents years of study and devotion to improvised music. Carolina Peaches is set for release on 5th September 2025 on Clonmell Jazz Social.

In addition to his work with his own quartet, Harry is a co-leader of the award winning group, Howl Quartet. Described as combining a ‘fiery, passionate energy with a thoughtful, intelligent wistfulness and the results are utterly compelling’ (UK Vibe), Howl Quartet are the recipients of a Developmental Award through the Peter Whittingham Jazz Awards to support the release of their third album in 2025. They have performed at acclaimed venues including The Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room), PizzaExpress Dean Street & Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Moreover, as a sideman, Harry has performed with artists including: Jean Carne, Anita Wardell, Tom Seals, Tony Momrelle (Incognito), Casandra Jenkins, Tomorrow’s New Quartet & Nel Begley.

“Harry Brunt always takes you completely by surprise - he has the suavest tenor sax sound you’ll hear these days - a genuine original with a lifetime of creative work in front of him. He’s unmissable.” John Harle
