Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn are two halves of a seamless rap and production duo from Brighton. With a sound that’s unmistakably British, they have honed signature roots in UK hip-hop, garage and grime, layered over minimalist electronic production.
After years of building a dedicated following through self-releases, 2025 proved to be a landmark year. They sold out The Roundhouse, completed a packed-out UK/EU tour, and delivered standout sets at major festivals including Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and TSNMT.
With each performance, they’ve solidified their reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying and fast-rising acts, and they head to Jazz Cafe this December for a Christmas special.

Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn are a vocalist-producer duo from Brighton who have honed a signature sound influenced equally by hip-hop and UK dance music. Harvey creates the exquisite beats punctuated by skillful sampling and Frankie delivers his confessional lyrics as candid observations and colourful metaphors, with an alluring pared back style. In recent years they’ve made themselves a household name in the UK and Europe and supported artists such as Slum Village, Loyle Carner and 9th Wonder to name a few.
