Her name was? Are an indie/alt rock duo from North London who have been quietly carving out an underground following across the uk since they first formed in 2023. Playing by their own rules as they get ready for their first vinyl release they embark on their debut UK tour kicking off with a hometown show at the Troubadour in London where the band began carving their name. Joined by special guests from across the London scene this night is a celebration of the London underground indie scene and one not to be missed.
INTERN
Intern are a 4-piece alt-rock band based in London. Inspired by the grunge of the 90’s and the recent sounds coming out of post-punk, Intern are the music scene’s new-hire.
ENVIE
ENVIE, formerly known as Dystopia, are an East London alternative rock trio crafting dark psychedelic soundscapes, soaring guitar riffs, and moody, emotionally charged vocals. Inspired by the spirit of nostalgia for alt-rock & pop, ENVIE reclaim space for women of colour in a genre where they have long been underrepresented.
JANGS
JANGS is a London based alt-rock singer, known for her eclectic performances and gritty songwriting. With influences drawn from the female powerhouses of the rock scene, JANGS is preparing to take over the London scene and revitalise female fronted rock. She’s played sets at Leeds Festival 2023, Reading Festival 2024, and supported The Last Dinner Party at a Palestine fundraiser, building things up independently and on her own terms.
