Marta Vega is a London-based artist blending grunge, alt-rock and post-punk into a sound that's both raw and irresistibly melodic. Inspired by the brooding intensity of Joy Division, the riot-grrrl energy of Hole and L7, and the hook-driven sensibility of pop music, she's carving out her own space in the alternative scene. Fuzzy guitars, haunting basslines and soaring melodies collide to create songs that are equal parts cathartic and addictive - backed by her band, she creates a sweet explosion of grit, vulnerability and catchy hooks.
