IMOGEN CLARK: Nashville-based Australian singer-songwriter Imogen Clark returns to Green Note after a sold out show in 2024.
Already armed with a deep catalogue of bracing, powerful, personal songs in the tradition of her heroes from Joni Mitchell to Bruce Springsteen to Martin Sexton and beyond, Imogen captures raw emotions in deftly written lyrics, infectious melodies and the soaring punch of her classically trained voice.
From recording in Abbey Road Studios to co-writing with Colin Hay and Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), touring with Steve Poltz and Jim Lauderdale and following her creative muse from her hometown of Western Sydney to her current home in Nashville, Imogen has been driven by her love of and devotion to music on an already storied career. From early years earning her stripes playing hometown dive bars as a teenage girl performing on some of the biggest festival stages around the world, Imogen has always held true to her creative core.
